The use of basic shapes also allows the icon to be easily differentiated from other icons, such as a church or a commercial building, and clearly conveys the intended meaning. This makes it easier to 3d model as as it can easily be inferred.

This icon is of a music note. This only uses 2 lines with one being short and the other being used around the whole note. This makes it easier to create the icon as it is mostly one continuous line so I will only have to use the pen tool twice for the whole icon. However manoeuvring it so it is accurate. In the end I didn't make this icon.

This icon is of a steam icon and it is simplistic and doesn't have a heavy amount of detail. This makes it easier to create and I was able to make it. In the end I did use it and it u were me result was good. I could have made it better with the aligning but it would be extremely buggy.
